Qhawe Nkomazana, with over 16 years work experience, is a qualified Fire professional (IFE Level 4 Fire Science and Safety, BSc. Hons Degree in Mechanical Engineering). He is also a member of SFPE and NFPA. He is a registered Fire Engineering Technologist and has specialised in the fields of fire safety and fire prevention, with specific reference to the safe design of new and existing buildings for over 10 years. He has been personally responsible for the design of fire safety measures for buildings ranging from clinics, hospitals, offices, warehouses, shopping centres, universities, schools and places of residence.

Qhawe also served in the manufacturing environment as a Training and Safety Specialist for Kango Products and Treger Plastics.
